Checking the status of university application can be a tedious task to many parents and school leavers but ‘UPUPocket’ is here to save the day.
As easy as it sounds, the mobile app serves a simple solution to the problem where one can keep track with their UPU (centralised university unit) application status on-the-go without having to log on to their computers.
Some of the features on UPUPocket include ‘Semakan’ (Check) which allows users to check their university application status, qualification status and the result of their application.
Meanwhile, ‘e-Panduan’ (e-Guide), provides terms of an entrance to public universities, technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and public institute of skills training (ILKA).
Its ‘Kalendar Akademik’ (Academic calendar) feature also provides details on important dates related to UPUonline application activities.
The users can also reach out to the UPU administrative staff should they have any complaints or feedback on their status through ‘Aduan’ (Complain) feature built into the app.
The app was launched in conjunction with the nationwide tour of Higher Education Ministry Carnival 2018 in Melaka on Saturday (Feb 3).
The ‘UPUPocket’ is now available on both Android and Apple and can be downloaded via https://upu.mohe.gov.my.
