Kudos to YB Hulu Selangor,Deputy Minister 1 P. Kamalanathan who countered Batu Kawan MP who certainly forgot that the incumbent HS MP had majority support from people there.
A baseless attack just because he was an Indian in the education ministry. She is now worshiping the ex-prime minister who sidelined the Tamil school’s for 22 years. An audacious attack by a shameless individual. Her act are dubious when you look at the timing of such ambush, nearing elections.
First of all, Batu Kawan had her facts wrong accusing the ministry especially P.Kamalanathan by getting things wrong. The first mistake is when she said that he failed to channeled the funds properly to tamil schools, whereby all the allocations given direct to the respective LPS for partially aided schools, and to government account for fully aided schools. This new measures was carried out by YB P. Kamalanathan in his capacity as Deputy Education Minister, never happened before 2013. He personally made sure that all partially aided schools are represented by LPS that manage the funds. She is certainly undermining the effort to uplift Tamil school’s that sees almost 1 billion allocations from 2009 until now. This shows her ill intention to confuse the people and to stop Tamil schools progress. When she is proven wrong, she quickly became an hooligan and conveniently created a chaos with the support of the other oppositions MP.
Secondly, how could she ask resignation of someone who is doing better than her. You are not qualified to call for the resignation of the Deputy Minster, who’s post was given by Prime Minister to look after Indian’s Education affair’s. Your blatant accusation is uncalled for. Removal or appointment of someone into a ministerial post is solely base on somebody’s capability, which is evaluated by non other than the Prime Minister himself.
Was she challenging the power of the people, looks more disrespectful act by fellow MP. What has she done for Tamil schools in Penang or at least in Batu Kawan? All a side, how could someone who is failing at her own seat question one of the leader of an Indian community? A low blow by someone who failed to live up to the name left by her father. Mr Patto who was an outspoken leader would have been embarrassed by the act of her daughter.
