KUALA LUMPUR: Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has denied involvement in any alleged plot to topple the Government. However, the Gua Musang MP was coy when asked if such a plot existed.
“Maybe there is, maybe there is not,” said Razaleigh, when approached by reporters at the Hari Raya celebrations of Persatuan Anak Gua Musang at Taman Alam Sutera here.
Razaleigh pointed out he was still a backbencher but said MPs must do and say the right things.Earlier Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said there was a bi-partisan move to topple the Government.
“The person is an Umno and Barisan Nasional leader who was recently released, and is now working with 87 Opposition parliamentarians to work against the Government,” he was reported as saying. – The Star
